    Grants, Donor manager, Fundraiser

    Location: Hybrid (Remote & Bay Area, CA)

    Commitment: 25-30 hours per week

    You will play a crucial role in helping us secure the financial support needed to make our mission a reality.

    This is a flexible volunteer opportunity, perfect for someone who want to make a meaningful contribution with their time and expertise in impacting the lives of people who need help.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    1. Grant Research and Writing:
    • Identify potential grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
    • Prepare and submit compelling grant proposals and applications.
    • Maintain a database of grants and their status.
    1. Donor Engagement:
    • Assist in developing donor outreach strategies to cultivate and steward relationships.
    • Help organize fundraising events and campaigns to engage donors.
    • Express our gratitude to donors through personalized communications.
    1. Fundraising Initiatives:
    • Collaborate with the fundraising team to develop and execute fundraising campaigns.
    • Contribute to the creation of fundraising materials and collateral.
    • Track and report on the progress of fundraising efforts.
    1. Research and Analysis:
    • Monitor industry trends and best practices in fundraising.
    • Analyze data and metrics to optimize fundraising strategies.

    Qualifications:

    • Passion for our organization's mission and a desire to make a positive impact.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Research and analytical abilities.
    • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
    • Experience in grant writing, fundraising, or donor relations is a plus but not required.
    • Must be available 10 AM - 3 PM PT on weekdays.
    • Hybrid role - occasional in-person meetings/events in the Bay Area.
    • References required before starting.
