We are seeking dedicated, compassionate volunteers to lead interest-based activities with youth currently in detention at the Juvenile Justice Center on N. Gay Street.
Volunteers will facilitate engaging sessions based on their own skills and interests — such as art, creative writing, music, financial literacy, career exploration, wellness, fitness, book discussions, coding, or other enrichment activities. The goal is to provide positive mentorship, spark curiosity, and create meaningful moments of connection in a structured, supportive environment.
This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are patient, nonjudgmental, and committed to supporting young people through encouragement and skill-building.
