Front-End Volunteers are often the first people our community members interact with. These volunteers play a vital role in creating a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive experience for everyone who walks through our doors. In this role, you'll welcome participants as they arrive, check them in for appointments using Salesforce, and explain how our fresh foods market works. You’ll also assist those without appointments by helping them complete intake forms, providing ID vouchers, and connecting them with Community Connectors.
At the Welcome Desk, you’ll schedule future appointments, both in person and over the phone, while also responding to general questions and transferring calls as needed. This is a great fit for people-oriented volunteers who enjoy fast-paced environments and are passionate about providing excellent service
