    About Branch Four Inc.

Trustworthy local information is essential to healthy communities, yet many local newsrooms lack the engineering, data, and AI resources needed to innovate, analyze public data, and grow their audiences.

Branch Four mobilizes technology talent for public good. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit innovation hub, we connect skilled coders with local newsrooms to build open-source tools, support data-driven investigations, and create digital products that strengthen transparency, trust, and civic engagement. By bringing technology expertise to under-resourced news organizations, we help communities access reliable, locally relevant information.
