    Your Commitment:

    • Be a mentor to two (2) young people from October 2026 through April 2027
    • Spend 1 hour per week with each child (2 hours max.) at a select Edmonton school

    What to expect:

    • You'll participate in the BGCBigs volunteer enrollment and training process, preparing you for a successful match with your mentees.
    • Each meeting follows the 20-20-20 model: 20 minutes of getting to know each other, 20 minutes of academic support, and 20 minutes of activities.
    • By being a positive role model and friend to your mentees, you'll help them build self-confidence, perform better in school and feel connected to their community.
