Description
Disasters happen everyday. Volunteering as a Disaster Action Team member helps American Red Cross provide 24-hour emergency response to local disasters, particularly house fires, ensuring that those affected have access to resources for basic necessities such as food, shelter and clothing.
You will speak directly with affected families, primarily by telephone, and input their information into a computer database that will be accessed by the family's case worker.
Assistance is required around the clock. You select the shift that works best with your schedule.
