    In-water roles need a current dive, freedive or scientific-diver certification; safety roles need CPR/First Aid/AED. Shore and video roles have no certification requirement.

    Description

    My Clean Ocean runs free ocean days for underserved Orange County youth: dive training, professional underwater cameras, marine life documentation and kelp forest restoration, on the boat and along the Newport coast.

    We are building the next round of these days now and want a small bench of volunteers ready when dates are set.

    Who we are looking for:

    • Certified divers and freedivers, scientific divers especially
    • CPR, First Aid or AED certified people for in-water and on-boat safety
    • Ocean educators, marine biology students and surf instructors
    • Video editors and photographers who can turn a day's footage into short stories

    What you get: real water time, real kids, and the chance to shape a young nonprofit's programs. No fundraising asks, no minimum hours; we match you to days that fit your schedule.
