    Description

Digital Marketing Volunteer — Help bring the Buddha's words to the world

The PaliVerse Project is the first complete English rendering of the Pāli Canon together with its traditional commentaries — roughly 22,000 pages of the Buddha's teachings, presented side by side and explained in plain language. It's offered free to everyone as a gift (Dhamma Dāna), built under the guidance of monastic scholars.

We've done the hard part. Now we need help making sure the people searching for these teachings can actually find them.

We're looking for a Digital Marketing Volunteer to lead our online visibility — someone who can turn a world-first scholarly resource into something a curious person stumbles onto at exactly the right moment.

    What you'd own:

    • Managing our Google Ad Grants account (up to $10,000/month in free search advertising for nonprofits) — setting up campaigns, refining keywords, keeping it compliant
    • Technical and on-page SEO for paliverse.org — so people searching for a sutta, a teaching, or "what did the Buddha actually say about X" find us
    • Shaping how our content travels — search, social, and beyond

You're a good fit if you:

    • Know your way around Google Ads and SEO in practice, not just in theory
    • Can work independently and own outcomes — this is a remote, self-directed role across time zones
    • Care about meaningful work. An interest in Buddhism or contemplative traditions is welcome but not required; what matters is that the mission resonates

What you get: a genuinely unusual portfolio piece, real ownership of a global-reach project, and the satisfaction of helping make 2,500 years of teaching freely accessible to anyone, anywhere.

This is an unpaid volunteer role, offered in the same spirit of generosity as the project itself.

To apply: tell us a little about yourself and your relevant work at info@paliverse.org. We'd love to hear from you.
