Description
OYC Miami is seeking math tutors to support elementary students at Hibiscus Elementary School in Miami Gardens.
Many students need additional support with foundational math skills, homework, and confidence-building. Volunteers will work with students one-on-one or in small groups to help them better understand math concepts in a patient and encouraging way.
This is a meaningful opportunity for high school students, college students, teachers, tutors, professionals, retirees, and community members who can donate at least 40 minutes of their time each week to support student learning.

Instructions:
Volunteer Responsibilities
Volunteers may assist with:
- Basic math practice
- Homework support
- One-on-one or small group tutoring
- Helping students understand math concepts
- Encouraging students who may feel frustrated or behind
- Supporting a positive learning environment
- Following guidance from OYC and school staff
