    Description

As the new year begins, many people are looking for meaningful ways to give back. Holy Savior Hospice invites compassionate individuals to start the year with purpose by becoming Patient Companionship Volunteers. Volunteers provide comfort, presence, and emotional support to patients and families during one of life’s most important journeys.

No medical experience is required—just a caring heart and a willingness to listen.

    Volunteer Role: Patient Companion

As a Patient Companionship Volunteer, you may:

    Sit and talk with patients

Read aloud, listen to music, or share stories

Offer quiet presence and emotional support

    Provide companionship to reduce loneliness

Support families by giving them a moment of rest

Your presence can bring peace, dignity, and comfort when it is needed most.
