    Description

Win the government funding that powers our mission — research opportunities and write winning proposals to HUD and other federal and state agencies. You will research open grants at HUD, DOJ, DOL, HHS, and Texas agencies; draft full narratives, needs statements, program designs, and budget narratives.

Manage a submissions calendar, maintain the grant boilerplate library, and coordinate with finance on budgets. You have a proven record winning government grants (HUD experience strongly preferred); exceptional writing skills; comfort with Grants.gov and JustGrants; detail-obsessed and deadline-driven.

Time commitment: 10-15 hours/week. Reports to: Grants Officer. To apply: email clientsuccessteam@azgari.org with the subject line 'Volunteer — Grant Writer — HUD & Government Grants

    '.
