    Volunteers must be able to work on a team basis, communicate regularly, be proficient with meeting programs (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.), and enjoy the excitement of collaborative output.

    Description

    Travel Unity welcomes volunteers who want to support our work making travel more welcoming to people of all backgrounds and identities.

    Volunteers contribute in different ways depending on their interests and skills, including research, outreach, storytelling, events, partnerships, and workforce development initiatives.

    As an initial step, new volunteers complete a short project to demonstrate engagement. Volunteers can choose between two options:

    • Spotlight – Interview a travel industry professional and write a short profile about their work and career path.
    • Case Study – Research and document an organization’s work in the travel industry.
