    Description

    Eucharistic Minister for Hospital Patients

    Gaylord Hospital is seeking a dedicated Volunteer Eucharistic Minister to bring Holy Communion to patients in a hospital setting. Our ministry team offers a meaningful way to share God’s presence with those who are ill, isolated, or in need of spiritual support.

    Role Details

    • Commitment: 1 time per week
    • Time Required: Approximately 3 hours per visit
    • Location: Gaylord Hospital, Wallingford CT
    • Responsibilities:
      • Visit assigned patients
      • Offer prayer and distribute Holy Communion
      • Provide a calm, compassionate presence

    Who We’re Looking For

    • A practicing Catholic in good standing
    • Already trained/commissioned as a Eucharistic Minister by their local parish.
    • Someone who is kind, reliable, and comfortable interacting with patients and staff.
    • Someone who coordinates with the volunteer ministry team to provide needed coverage.
