Description
WorkFour Colorado is building the movement for a 32-hour workweek in our colorful state. We're looking for volunteers all across Colorado to engage in their local chambers of commerce and persuade business owners to participate in our pilot program.
💡 What You’ll Do
- Conduct research on companies that successfully implemented a 32-hour workweek
- Work within your "Business Outreach Committee" to brainstorm ideas/share the workload
Draft outreach messages and proposals to labor unions:
- Create a PowerPoint presentation for in-person chamber of commerce and city hall meetings
- Handout brochures
- Secure a venue at specific industry conventions to give a talk (work alongside our "Treasurer/Fundraising Committee" to raise funds)
- Invite guests (either in-person or on Zoom) who's business implemented a 32-hour workweek
- Take photos while at the event and send them to the "Social Media Management Committee"
- Collect quantitative data
- If a 32-hour workweek doesn't seem feasible, try advocating for a 36-hour workweek instead
⏰ Time Commitment
- 3–5 hours/week (flexible)
