About the Role
This is a meaningful and creative volunteer opportunity where you’ll connect with seniors, listen to their life stories, and help turn those memories into something lasting.
Through conversations, you’ll learn about people’s experiences, perspectives, and life journeys — and help preserve them through short written stories, mini booklets, photos, or optional short videos.
This is not a typical volunteer role. It’s a mix of community service, storytelling, and content creation.
What You’ll Do
- Talk with seniors and learn about their life experiences
- Ask thoughtful questions (we’ll guide you!)
- Turn stories into short written pieces or mini booklets
- Take simple photos or videos (optional)
- Create short-form content (Reels or clips) from meaningful moments
Who This Is For
- High school students (Fremont / Bay Area)
- Curious, kind, and open-minded
- Enjoy talking to people and hearing stories
- Interested in storytelling or content creation (not required)
- No experience needed
