Description
Hospice musician volunteers use the healing power of music to provide companionship, emotional support, and comfort to patients and families at the end of life. Through live music and compassionate presence, volunteers help create moments of peace, connection, and dignity during a deeply meaningful time.
The rewards of hospice volunteering are powerful and life-enriching. As we care for others, we often find ourselves profoundly changed by the experience.
Volunteer Role Includes:
- Playing live music for hospice patients and their families
- Offering companionship, conversation, and emotional support
- Enhancing quality of life through soothing and meaningful musical experiences
Training & Support:
- Comprehensive volunteer training provided
- Training is primarily online and can be completed at your own pace
- Ongoing education and support from our hospice team
Musicians of all instruments are welcome. Bring your instrument, share your gift, and help create moments of comfort and beauty for those at the end of life.
