The periods of the programme:
3 months at CICD Studies, investigations and practical training. You learn about the reasons for the climate crisis and what we can do to mitigate it, how it is connected with the growing gap between the rich and the poor. You dive into the many things we can do to create awareness and live a more sustainable life, as well as train many practical skills in the area of organic food production: making compost, irrigation, companion-planting, natural fertilizer, and more.
3 months at Richmond Vale Academy in St Vincent & the Grenadines Volunteering with environment projects and community development. Here you get involved in the centres ecological farm production, learn about coral restoration, plant mangroves and other trees, organise actions to improve garbage control in the villages, teach about climate change, and more...
1 month back at CICD to conclude and share your experiences
