    About Change Creators Foundation

Change Creators Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing barriers to healing, growth, and opportunity. Our work focuses on addressing intergenerational trauma, expanding access to meaningful support and resources, and empowering individuals, families, and communities to create lasting, positive change.

As a growing organization, we are building programs, partnerships, and opportunities that promote healing, education, connection, and community well-being.

    About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced, passionate volunteer to help strengthen our grant writing and funding development efforts.

This is an opportunity to play a meaningful role in helping a developing nonprofit build its foundation for long-term sustainability and community impact.

We would love to connect with someone who brings grant writing experience, understands the nonprofit funding landscape, and enjoys helping mission-driven organizations turn ideas into funded initiatives.

    Responsibilities

    • Research and identify grant opportunities aligned with our mission, programs, and organizational priorities.
    • Assist with developing, writing, and submitting compelling grant proposals and letters of inquiry.
    • Support the development of grant narratives, organizational descriptions, and funding materials.
    • Help establish a grant calendar to track opportunities, application deadlines, and reporting requirements.
    • Collaborate with organizational leadership to identify funding priorities and develop effective grant strategies.
    • Provide guidance on strengthening the organization's grant readiness and competitiveness.
    • Assist with grant reporting and funder communications as needed.

    Ideal Qualifications

    • Previous experience writing grants for nonprofit organizations, foundations, or community-based initiatives.
    • Familiarity with grant research, proposal development, and funding applications.
    • Strong written communication, research, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.
    • Interest in mental health, trauma-informed approaches, community development, education, or social impact.
    • Experience supporting startup or emerging nonprofits is especially valuable.

    What You'll Gain

    • An opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to a growing, mission-driven nonprofit.
    • Flexible, remote volunteer work that accommodates your schedule.
    • Collaboration with organizational leadership in shaping funding priorities and future programs.
    • Opportunities to contribute your expertise, ideas, and creative approaches.
    • The satisfaction of helping expand access to resources, support, and opportunities for underserved communities.

    How to Apply

Interested volunteers are encouraged to submit a brief introduction describing their grant writing experience, areas of expertise, and interest in supporting Change Creators Foundation.

Please include examples of previous grant writing or nonprofit fundraising experience, if available.

We welcome individuals who are passionate about creating meaningful change and would love to explore how your expertise could support our mission.
