    Description

    Become a Hospice Companion Volunteer with Bristol Hospice!

    Bring comfort, care, and companionship to patients in their final chapter of life. As a Hospice Companion volunteer, you'll make a meaningful difference by:

    • Visiting patients to offer conversation and emotional support
    • Reading, listening to music, or simply sharing quiet moments
    • Providing caregiver relief for patient's family/caregivers

    No medical experience is needed-just a kind heart and a desire to help others. Training and ongoing support are provided.

    Requirements:

    • Must be at least 18 years old or older
    • Have reliable transportation (must provide proof auto insurance)
    • Complete all required hospice volunteer onboarding, training, background checks, and TB screenings
