Grow Vegetables for Donation at Shepherd Giving Farm
Details
Description
Shepherd’s Giving Farm is a 20-acre certified organic farm with a single purpose of growing food to be given away. Every crop grown and harvested at Shepherd's Giving Farm is passed directly to Veggie Rescue, who then donates it to over 70 nonprofit partners across Santa Barbara County serving individuals and families experiencing food insecurity.
Shepherd's Giving Farm relies on a growing network of volunteers and community groups, especially during planting and harvest seasons. Join the Shepherd Giving Farm every Monday and Thursday from 9am-noon to grow and harvest thousands of pounds of fresh vegetables that go directly to community members affected by the hunger crisis across Santa Barbara County.
No farming experience needed. We will show you everything you need to know, provide any tools you will need, and you will leave knowing you made a real difference.

Directions
The GPS instructions for the address of Hill Top Guest Ranch (7601 Santos Rd, Lompoc, CA 93436) will bring you to the correct location, however here are some additional instructions to help you!
From Mail Rd, turn left on Santos Rd. The road will turn to dirt, go over a hill, then drop into a canyon. Eventually there's a sign for Hill Top Farm over the dirt road. At the bottom of the hill, take a right into the fields, to park next to the porta potty under the large tree.
