Role Overview
Help us secure the resources necessary to expand our health literacy workshops. We are looking for a detail-oriented volunteer to identify private foundation and government grant opportunities that align with our mission of providing real-time advocacy for patients in crisis.
Key Responsibilities
- Research local and national grants focused on healthcare access and equity.
- Maintain a calendar of grant deadlines and reporting requirements for the foundation.
- Draft high-quality grant proposals and letters of inquiry (LOIs).
- Gather data and organizational stories to support compelling humanitarian narratives.
Essential Skills
- Experience with grant prospecting databases (e.g., Candid/Foundation Directory Online) and analytical writing.
