Hospital Volunteer

Banner – University Medical Center Phoenix (BUMCP) is a major academic medical center in Phoenix, Arizona, serving as the teaching hospital for the University of Arizona College of Medicine–Phoenix. It is recognized nationally for specific specialties and high-performing in multiple areas according to U.S. News & World Report, and is a high-volume hospital with numerous beds, staff, and annual patient visits, including thousands of surgeries and births. The hospital is also part of the larger Banner Health system.

We offer volunteer opportunities in nearly every aspect of our hospital from the information desk, to the Emergency Department, Outpatient Infusion, our Cancer Center and more. We ask for one 4-hour commitment each week for 6 months. We will work with your availability and interest to place you in the best fit in the hospital.
