    Description

    What we need .....

      • Teen Health operates Outside the City. We provide free experiential outings (water sports, cycling, hiking, camping, etc.) for at-risk, formerly gang-involved youth and young adults. We are seeking support for a full redesign of the user experience for Outside the City website clear user journey map showing how different audiences — partners, donors, and community members — navigate the site and where they drop off or disengage
      • Strategic placement and design of calls to action that drive partner engagement, product donations, and monetary support
      • A framework for introducing new campaigns to the website, including how campaign pages are structured, promoted, and connected to donation or sign-up flows
      • Recommendations on overall site design direction, visual hierarchy, and content prioritization to support our mission and growth

    Additional details

We need support on how the site works for our audiences — not just how it looks. We want visitors to understand who we are quickly, feel compelled to get involved, and have a clear, easy path to do so. A key part of this relaunch is building out the infrastructure to introduce and promote new campaigns.

    What we have in place

We currently have our website content and strategy, which should make it easy to get started. Our team is available to support throughout the project and can provide any additional background information needed.

    How this will help

A more intentional user experience will directly advance our model — helping us attract new partners, grow our donor base, and build momentum around new campaigns that support Outside the City programs.

    Project plan

    Prep: Distribution of Prep Materials

      • Our team shares the current website, existing marketing materials, and an overview of upcoming campaigns and program priorities
      • Both parties align on goals, target audiences, and what success looks like for this relaunch

Milestone 1: Discovery & Audience Mapping

      • Both parties connect to discuss the organization's goals, target audiences, and the actions we most want visitors to take
      • A review of the existing site identifies gaps in the current user journey
      • You are engaged with the team throughout the process

Milestone 2: User Journey & Campaign Framework

      • A user journey map is delivered outlining how key audiences move through the site
      • A framework is proposed for how new campaigns will be introduced, structured, and connected to calls to action

Milestone 3: Design Direction & CTA Strategy

      • Recommendations are presented for direction, visual hierarchy, and call-to-action placement
      • Collaborate and finalize the strategic direction

    Milestone 4: Presentation of Deliverable

      • Together we develop a strategy document, including the user journey map, campaign framework, CTA recommendations, and design direction notes
