    Description

    The American Red Cross of Western New York is seeking a volunteer Disaster Mental Health Team Leader to support our Disaster Cycle Services team. In this role, you’ll supervise volunteers, onboard new volunteers to Disaster Cycle Services, provide training for the volunteer's functional area in collaboration with the Disaster Workforce Engagement Team, and provide evaluation of performance for yearly evaluation and completion of volunteer development plans.

    This role requires a licensed mental health professional with strong leadership and communications skills, and the ability to adopt and work with diverse communities.

    Availability preferences include business hours with the ability to work on weekends and/or evenings with prior approval (in office or remote).

    Red Cross Trainings: Disaster Cycle Services: An Overview, RC Care: Individual Disaster Care Curriculum, Disaster Mental Health: Introduction. Disaster Mental Health: Fundamentals Part 1 and Disaster Mental Health: Fundamentals Part.
