    Description

    Attention service-minded individuals looking for meaningful volunteer opportunities!

    Community Markets Inc. invites anyone interested in feeding hungry families in our community with healthy WV-grown food and increasing access to locally grown food to come volunteer with us! Since 2021, CMI has provided thousands of pounds of healthy and nutritious groceries from West Virginian farmers to families in need within the Eastern Panhandle of WV and beyond.

    CMI runs St. Isidore Market each Thursday from 5:00-6:30 pm in Charles Town, WV.

    Volunteer opportunities include :

    • Helping set up for the weekly St. Isidore Market (3:00-4:30 pm)
    • Helping run the weekly St. Isidore Market (4:15-6:30 pm)
      • Supporting to fulfill market orders in an efficient and joyful manner for the customers
    • Helping close up for the weekly St. Isidore Market (6:30-7:00 pm)
    • Packing pre-ordered groceries on the Wednesday before the Market (11:30 am - 1:30 pm)
