Exhibition Opening: Accidentally on Purpose

We are seeking volunteers to support the Opening Reception of Accidentally on Purpose – Pasó lo que tenía que pasar on June 4, 2026, from 5:30–9:00 PM (times may vary by position). This free public event will feature light appetizers, drinks, and live music by Soul Beat Girl as we celebrate the opening of this exhibition highlighting Chicano art and identity.

Volunteers will assist at the bar, help serve and share appetizers, and welcome guests as they arrive, helping create a warm and engaging experience for all attendees.

• Bartender (2): Volunteer bartenders must be 21+ and will be responsible for serving drinks, handling payments, assisting with bar cleanup, and helping keep the energy fun and welcoming throughout the evening. 🍻 Time: 4:15 p.m- 9:19 p.m
• Greeter – Guest Check-In (1): Volunteers in this role will be responsible for welcoming guests at check-in and helping direct them as they arrive. This is a fun, fast-paced position perfect for someone who enjoys meeting new people and being part of a lively celebration of art, music, and community. Expect great energy, good vibes, and a memorable night! 🙂 Time: 5:30 p.m- 8:00 p.m
• Food Service & Appetizer Support (3): Volunteers in this role will help serve food and pass appetizers throughout the event. This is a fun, social position perfect for someone who enjoys being on the move and interacting with guests. Expect a fast-paced environment, great energy, and plenty of good vibes all night long! 🍣 Time: 5:30 p.m - 7:30 p.m
