    Description

    Join our growing Data Analytics Team!

    We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual who thinks analytically, has a strong grasp of statistics and probability fundamentals, and takes initiative to drive projects forward. If you enjoy turning raw data into meaningful insights and automating processes to make workflows more efficient, we’d love to have you on board.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Analyze organizational data to uncover actionable insights and trends that inform decision-making
    • Build clear and engaging visualizations and dashboards using Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI, or similar tools
    • Develop automation solutions in Excel and other tools to streamline data processing and reporting
    • Apply statistical reasoning and probability concepts to validate findings and improve data accuracy
    • Collaborate with team members to define data needs and structure reporting processes
    • Take ownership of assigned tasks, proactively identify opportunities for improvement, and deliver results on time
    • Present findings in a way that’s accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences

    Preferred Skills & Experience

    • Strong analytical thinking with clarity in statistical and probabilistic concepts
    • Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets, data visualization tools (Power BI, Canva, Tableau, or similar)
    • Experience or interest in automating repetitive work in Excel or other tools using formulas, scripts, or macros
    • Basic familiarity with SQL or other data querying tools is a plus
    • Excellent communication skills and an ability to translate data into compelling stories
    • A proactive, “go-getter” attitude with accountability for your deliverables

    Project Details

    • Commitment: At least 5 hours per week for 6 months (with extra hours during the busiest periods: mid-Jan through mid-Feb, mid-May through mid-June, and mid-Sept through mid-Oct)
    • Meetings: Weekly 1-hour team meetings (time TBD)
    • Start Timeline: Allow 2–4 weeks for the volunteer onboarding process
    • Note: We are unable to provide any documentation to support FI OPT Visa status
