    About The Well of Mercy

The Well of Mercy is a nonprofit, long-term residential program and healing community that provides housing and support for mothers and their children for up to five years. Through stability, education, and compassion, we help families with the resources and support they need to rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.

    Opportunity Overview

We're looking for a creative and caring volunteer to help share stories of hope and transformation through our communications, marketing, and social media outreach. Your work will help raise awareness of our mission and strengthen connections with friends of The Well and our wider community of supporters.

This role is a great fit for anyone with an interest in marketing, communications, or social media, including students, creatives, or professionals seeking meaningful, real-world experience in the nonprofit sector.

    Ways You'll Contribute

Depending on your interests and skills, you may help with:

    • Creating and scheduling posts that reflect the heart of The Well and highlight daily life, milestones, or events
    • Supporting storytelling, outreach, and community engagement through digital platforms or creative projects
    • Helping develop and organize content for newsletters, social media, or online campaigns
    • Collaborating with our team on creative ways to engage and inspire supporters

Flexible hours | Remote and in-person | Ideal for students, creatives, or anyone passionate about using their voice to make a difference and inspire meaningful connections. Your creative contributions will help share our mission and celebrate the mercy, hope, and community at the heart of The Well of Mercy, a home where mothers and children rebuild their lives with dignity and grace.

    About the Experience

This volunteer role offers hands-on experience in nonprofit communications, marketing, and social media within a compassionate and collaborative environment. Volunteers are part of a small, supportive team that works together to share The Well's mission and honor the milestones of residents, volunteers, and donors—with empathy, dignity, and hope.
