Description
The Assistive Technology Department at Braille Institute needs volunteers to help create a welcoming experience for blind and visually impaired students. Duties include greeting students, guiding them to an available computer and assisting with getting them set-up. Volunteers will also take down names for call back appointments. No technology experience is necessary, although anyone with an interest will find learning about access technology to be fascinating! Various 3-4 hour shifts are available, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.
