Description
The Social Media Coordinator helps tell the StandUp for Kids story online and increase awareness of youth homelessness, our programs, volunteer opportunities, and ways the community can support our mission.
This volunteer helps develop and schedule engaging content for social media, capture and share stories from chapter activities, promote fundraising events and campaigns, and create posts that inspire people to get involved. The role works closely with the chapter leadership and other volunteers to ensure content is accurate, timely, and consistent with StandUp for Kids' mission and brand.
A strong understanding of appropriate boundaries, confidentiality, and protecting the privacy of youth is essential.
