Volunteer at fundraising event to end housing insecurity in NYC

We are Project Renewal, an organization on a mission to build supportive communities where people achieve dignity and independence. We support New Yorkers experiencing homelessness, primarily working to make sure folks with histories of incarceration, substance use, and/or mental health diagnoses get access to housing, healthcare and jobs.

We are looking for volunteers to help at Renewal for New York, Project Renewal’s Annual Gala, on May 13th from 3:30pm-9pm! Dinner will be provided.

Responsibilities include:

• Guest registration
• Silent auction support
• Spotting and recording for the live auction and paddle raise

The total time commitment is about 6 hours including a brief training/orientation. We will be hosting virtual trainings before the day of the event. Attendance at one virtual training is required for all volunteers.
