Description
We are launching a new Maintenance Club that gathers every Wednesday from 8:00am-12:00pm with our first meeting happening on Wednesday June 17th.
The goal of the club is to create a dedicated group of volunteers who enjoy working with their hands and want to help us keep our campus safe, functional, and beautiful for the animals, staff, volunteers, and visitors we serve. We are looking for both men and women who enjoy fixing, building, organizing, painting, landscaping, and completing projects that often fall to the bottom of our to-do list.
Projects may include:
- Minor facility repairs
- Painting and touch-up projects
- Grounds clean-up and beautification
- Fence, kennel, and enclosure maintenance
- Organizing storage areas and supply spaces
- Building enrichment items for animals
- Assembling furniture, shelving, or equipment
- Light landscaping and weed abatement
- Seasonal campus improvement projects
- Special projects identified by Juan and the Operations team
Please email and let me know if this is something that might interest you so that we can add you to the list!
