    Description

    Introducing SEGA Robo-Explorers!

Empower Girls Through STEM and Robotics

Help SEGA Girls’ School students explore robotics, coding, and problem-solving through hands-on learning!

We are recruiting 5+ volunteers to join our SEGA Robo-Explorers Program inaugural launch in 2026! This is your chance to support SEGA Students as they gain hands-on experience in robotics, coding, and STEM problem-solving, while being part of an exciting new chapter at SEGA Girls’ School. If you are adaptable, curious, and ready to embrace a fun, hands-on teaching experience, we want you on our team!

Volunteers will work with students ages 14 and older, guiding them through robotics projects that build engineering, coding, and teamwork skills. SEGA students are bright, motivated, and eager to learn, but often have limited exposure to hands-on robotics experiences. You will guide them to design, build, and program their own robotics projects, encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and confidence along the way.

Volunteers should have experience in robotics or coding. You will work in a small, supportive team of volunteers, rotating through student groups, and collaborating closely with SEGA staff and program leaders.

Beyond the classroom, the program offers opportunities to immerse yourself in Tanzanian culture, participate in school events, and explore the local area, including the chance to see some of Africa’s world-renowned wildlife on a 2-day safari!

    What’s provided:

    • Arranged accommodations at SEGA Visitor House and hotels in Dar es Salaam
    • Arranged ground transportation including airport transfers
    • 3 meals a day
    • 2-day safari at Mikumi National Park
