When disasters like wildfires and floods strike, Red Cross Shelter volunteers create safe, warm spaces where hope can take root again. Every shift is a chance to lift someone up, ease a burden, and be part of a team that proves how powerful ordinary people can be when we act together.
If you’ve ever wanted to make a meaningful impact—right in the moment people need it most—this is your invitation. You’ll help families find comfort, connection, and stability, and you’ll do it alongside others who believe in joyful, purposeful service.
