    About LoopRoots Foundation

    LoopRoots Foundation supports justice-impacted families through transportation, housing, mental health services, and reentry support. Our housing program provides safe, transitional housing solutions to help families regain stability and long-term security.

    This volunteer role is a unique opportunity to design and lead a housing initiative from the ground up, making a direct impact in communities across the U.S.

    Role Overview

    The Volunteer Housing Program Manager will lead the development and coordination of LoopRoots’ housing program, including housing navigation, partner outreach, intake processes, and program documentation.

    This is ideal for someone with experience in housing, social services, or nonprofit program management who wants to contribute leadership skills to a high-impact, fully remote project.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop housing intake and placement workflows
    • Build partnerships with landlords, transitional housing providers, and local agencies
    • Track program outcomes and maintain clear documentation
    • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and nonprofit policies
    • Coordinate wraparound services for families (mental health, transportation, employment support)
    • Support grant reporting and program development

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • 2+ years experience in housing programs, case management, or social services
    • Strong organizational and communication skills
    • Self-starter capable of working independently

    Preferred:

    • Experience with justice-impacted populations
    • Familiarity with HUD or local housing programs
    • Volunteer leadership experience
