    Description

    Policy Research
    • Research laws, regulations, policies, and standards related to consumer product safety.
    • Analyze regulatory frameworks to identify gaps, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Study international best practices and compare them with existing regulatory systems.
    • Draft, file, and track Right to Information (RTI) applications as required.
    • Collect, organize, and analyze information obtained through RTI responses and other sources.
    • Prepare policy briefs, legal memos, research notes, and summary reports.
    • Conduct legal and policy research to support advocacy, awareness, and reform initiatives.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of research findings, regulatory developments, and project progress.
    • Assist in compiling evidence-based recommendations and insights for stakeholders.
    • Support the team in other research, documentation, and policy-related activities as needed.

    Other requirements

    1. LLB students (2nd year onwards), LLM students, and recent law graduates.
    2. Students pursuing public policy, public health, political science, economics, sociology, or related disciplines.
    3. Individuals with strong research, legal analysis, writing, and critical thinking skills.
    4. Candidates with an interest in consumer protection, public policy, regulatory affairs, or governance.
    5. Self-motivated individuals who can work independently and manage deadlines effectively.
    6. Candidates with strong attention to detail and the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise reports.

    Commitment:

    1. Availability of 10 - 15 hours per week throughout the internship period.
    2. Ability to consistently contribute to research, documentation, and project-related activities.
