    Description

We have moved! We are now hosting our event downtown Cincinnati at Washington Park!

We are looking to do a litter clean up as part of the event and will need volunteers to help pick up litter (litter pick up materials will be provided). Locations: West End and Findley Market, both are walkable/a street car ride to Washington Park.

This is an outdoor family and pet friendly event.

We ask that volunteers bring their own water bottles, as we will provide a refilling station. Please take the weather into account and dress appropriately; sunscreen too and layers if needed.

It should be expected to spend time outdoors for this event. It should also be expected to interact with the public and children attending the event.

Food, both snacks and a lunch (meal) will be provided to volunteers.

    4 shifts available:

    • 8:30am-11:30am: This shift is helping vendors find and set up their booths/tables, helping them transport their items to their spot, helping put up signage and tables for the event; some heavy lifting may be required: Sunday April 19, 2026 - 08:30 to 12:00 EST (breakfast provided)
    • 11:30am-1:30pm: This shift is includes helping run kid games, kids crafts, scavenger hunt, compost/waste mitigation (Waste Warrior Team), survey collection, and litter clean up: Sunday April 19, 2026 - 11am to 1pm EST (lunch provided)
    • 1:30pm-3:30pm: This shift includes helping run kid games, kids crafts, scavenger hunt, compost/waste mitigation (Waste Warrior Team), survey collection: Sunday April 19, 2026 - 1pm to 3pm EST (lunch provided)
    • 3:30pm-6:00pm: This shift includes helping tear down the event; helping vendors load their vehicles, tearing down signage, etc. (Pizza provided): Sunday, April 19th 2026

Parking Instructions: There is parking in the parking lot below the park, in the parking garage. There is street parking too; both of these options will require volunteers to pay for their parking. We encourage volunteers to carpool to offset the cost, in addition to using the street car. The street car drops off right at Washington Park.

The Litter Clean Up: Will be at two offsite (but tangential) locations. 1. The West End and 2. Findley Market. Materials and maps will be provided.

    • We are still working on parking logistics for the West End, but if you sign up for the litter clean up, you are encouraged to park at your off site area and either walk or use the street car to Washington Park. The litter clean up is only from 11:30-1:30pm* Specific Parking details will be updated
