    Administrative Assistant (Operations & Partnership Support) - Volunteer

    Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting meaningful work behind the scenes?

    Immersed Global is seeking 1–2 dedicated Administrative Assistant interns/volunteers to help strengthen our internal operations and keep our programs running smoothly. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting day-to-day coordination, organization, and communication — with additional exposure to partnership and outreach efforts.

    This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit operations, administrative systems, and team coordination while contributing to a mission focused on global education and cultural connection.

    📋 Position Details

    • Role: Administrative Assistant (Intern/Volunteer)
    • Commitment: Minimum 3–6 hours per week
    • Location: Open to applicants anywhere (remote-friendly)
    • DMV-area (DC, Maryland, Northern Virginia) applicants will receive priority consideration.
    • Age Requirement: 18+

    📘 Responsibilities

    • Administrative Coordination: Support day-to-day organizational tasks, scheduling, and internal tracking to ensure smooth team operations
    • Database & Record Management: Maintain and update internal records, contact lists, and shared documents for accuracy and accessibility
    • Task & Workflow Support: Assist in organizing tasks, tracking progress, and improving internal systems and processes
    • Team Communication: Work closely with the Executive Assistant and team members to support coordination and information flow
    • Basic Outreach Support: Assist with tracking outreach emails and maintaining partner contact information as needed
    • Operational Improvements: Help identify ways to streamline workflows and improve efficiency across tools (Google Workspace, Slack, etc.)
    • Flexible Support: Contribute to additional administrative, research, or coordination tasks based on team needs and your strengths

    • Strong time management and ability to handle multiple tasks
    • Comfortable with tools like Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
    • Clear and professional communication skills
    • Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently
    • Interested in operations, administration, or nonprofit work
    • Passionate about global education and community impact
