Sisters in Christ: Women of Purpose — Daughters of Promise

    Volunteer Executive Leadership Role

    About Us

Sisters in Christ is a growing national women’s ministry committed to spiritual empowerment, community support, and purpose‑driven leadership. As we expand our programs and partnerships across the country, we are seeking a Spirit‑led Chief of Staff to support our CEO and strengthen alignment across the ministry.

    Position Overview

The Chief of Staff serves as the CEO’s strategic partner, ensuring clarity, unity, and alignment as the ministry grows. This role focuses on communication, leadership cohesion, and the faithful execution of the CEO’s vision — not operations. The Chief of Staff protects the CEO’s time, supports leadership communication, and helps steward high‑impact initiatives.

This is an ideal role for a mission‑driven leader who thrives in strategy, communication, and spiritual alignment.

    Key Responsibilities

    Strategic Alignment

    • Translate the CEO’s vision into clear priorities for the leadership team
    • Maintain alignment across departments without managing operations
    • Ensure clarity and consistency in ministry direction

    Leadership Cohesion

    • Facilitate leadership meetings, communication, and follow‑ups
    • Support directors in understanding expectations and priorities
    • Strengthen team culture and spiritual unity

    CEO Support

    • Protect the CEO’s time, focus, and decision‑making capacity
    • Filter communication and requests
    • Provide briefings, summaries, and strategic recommendations
    • Represent the CEO when needed

    Special Initiatives

    • Coordinate major ministry launches and national initiatives
    • Support partnerships and collaborations
    • Manage confidential or sensitive projects

    Qualifications

    • Spirit‑led, prayerful, and grounded in biblical integrity
    • Strong communicator with high emotional intelligence
    • Strategic thinker who brings clarity and unity
    • Loyal, confidential, and aligned with the ministry’s mission
    • Able to support leaders without managing operations
    • Experience in leadership, communication, or strategic roles preferred

    Commitment

This is a volunteer executive leadership role with flexible hours, designed for someone who feels called to support a growing national ministry.
