Volunteer Opportunity: Social Media Content Creator

HopeRISE Alabama is seeking a volunteer Social Media Content Creator to help develop and manage social media content that supports the organization’s outreach and programs.

The volunteer will assist with creating and posting content that informs the public about available resources, upcoming initiatives, and ways to engage with the organization. This role focuses on developing clear, helpful content that aligns with the organization’s mission and audience.

Responsibilities may include:

• Creating graphics, short videos, and written posts for social media
• Scheduling and publishing content across social media platforms
• Assisting with planning content for campaigns, events, or awareness initiatives
• Helping maintain a consistent and professional social media presence
• Monitoring basic engagement such as comments or messages when needed

Requirements:

• Experience creating content for social media platforms
• Familiarity with tools such as Canva or similar design programs
• Strong written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and follow content guidelines
• Must be based in the United States
• Must be willing to complete identity verification before receiving account access
