    Description

    Health Advocates engages high school and adult volunteers in a variety of roles:

    • Class ambassadors for in-person wellness classes (age 60+ volunteers only)
    • Cultural outing ambassadors (age 60+ volunteers only)
    • Birthday callers
    • Office support
    • Special event volunteers
    • Committee members to help organize fundraising events
    • Pro-bono support for marketing, photography, graphic design, data analysis and reporting
    • Leading educational seminars and teaching one-time or weekly classes
    • Running errands for those unable to leave their homes
    • Providing technology help to participants

    Volunteers may choose to get involved on a one-time, occasional or regular basis. There are opportunities suitable for volunteers of varied ages and with different skills. We are specifically seeking age 60+ volunteers for selected roles, as indicated above.

    All volunteers will receive orientation to the organization and clear guidance and training for their tasks.
