Description
Join us at Big Oak Canyon for Volunteer!
Projects may include:
- clearing invasive plants
- tending oak trees and native plants
- spreading mulch
- gathering native seeds
- weeding the vegetable garden
- preparing class materials
We recommend wearing long sleeves, close toed shoes and a sun hat. There is poison oak on site, so even on warm days, long sleeve attire is recommended.
Time: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Directions to the volunteer site, required forms, and additional information will be emailed when you sign up.
All ages are welcome. Ages 12 and under require adult supervision
