🎖️Veteran Volunteers for Hospice Wanted!

Volunteers are an essential part of the Compassionate Hospice Care team and have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their caregivers. Your time is needed and valued.

We offer a variety of ways to volunteer:

1. Companionship: talking with a patient, reading, card games, writing letters.
2. Caregiver respite: providing a break for a family member to take care of their own needs.
3. Volunteer with your dog and provide pet therapy
4. Sing or play an instrument for a patient and/or caregiver
5. Provide Massage, Reiki or Comfort Touch
6. Hospice administrative support
7. Bereavement support

Veterans, musicians, therapist are welcomed! No experience is required, just a willing and compassionate heart. Time commitment would be 1-2 hours per month, or more if you are available. These hours count towards volunteer requirements for educational or legal purposes.
