    Program: LoopFood

    Location: Remote (U.S.)

    Commitment: 20–25 hours per week

    Type: Volunteer (with opportunity to transition into paid Program Manager role post-launch)

    About the Role

    LoopRoots Foundation is launching LoopFood, a first-of-its-kind hybrid food bank that allows families to order affordable food boxes online using SNAP/EBT or small copays, and choose delivery or local pickup.

    We’re seeking a motivated LoopFood Program Manager to help design, coordinate, and launch this groundbreaking initiative. This role will lead pilot planning, partner development, and system setup for our national rollout.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Co-develop and implement the LoopFood program structure
    • Coordinate EBT/SNAP payment integration with USDA-authorized processors
    • Build and manage partnerships with local food distributors and community hubs
    • Identify pickup locations in pilot states (churches, schools, nonprofits)
    • Support outreach, donor engagement, and volunteer coordination
    • Oversee pilot data collection, logistics, and food box tracking
    • Report directly to the LoopRoots executive team

    Qualifications

    • Experience in nonprofit management, logistics, food distribution, or social enterprise
    • Familiarity with SNAP/EBT systems and food assistance programs
    • Strong project management and communication skills
    • Passion for community service, food access, and innovation
    • Ability to work remotely and manage cross-functional collaboration
