Are you a dedicated and resilient individual passionate about saving dogs? Our established 501(c)(3) nonprofit dog rescue is seeking Board Member(s) to help guide our mission and strategic direction. This is a crucial, long-term commitment for someone ready to make a significant impact.

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking someone with experience working within an animal rescue organization (volunteer or staff). This experience is vital for understanding the unique operational, emotional, and logistical demands of dog rescue.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Long-Term Commitment: A genuine desire to commit time and effort to our board and mission for the foreseeable future.
• Deep Rescue Experience: A strong working knowledge of rescue operations, protocols, and the ethical issues involved.
• Emotional Resilience: The ability to handle the inevitable hardships, heartbreak, and challenging situations that are part of animal rescue work.
• Exceptional People Skills: A high tolerance and effective communication style for managing diverse personalities, including eccentric volunteers, passionate adopters, and dedicated staff/foster parents.
