    Description

    Fall 2025 2nd grade after school reading tutor at Tracey's & Lothian Elementary

    STAIR-Annapolis, Start The Adventure In Reading, is a twice-weekly, AFTER SCHOOL literacy tutoring program for Anne Arundel County Public School first and second grade students reading below grade level. Tutors work one-on-one with a student for an hour-long session, and we offer our volunteers the flexibility to choose their level of commitment: one day per week, two days per week, or as a substitute on an as-needed basis. Stair-Annapolis at Tracey's Elementary is held Monday and Thursday from 2:30-3:45. STAIR at Lothian site meets on Wednesday and Thursday from 2:30-3:45.

    Please contact volunteer_coordinator@stairannapolis.org for more information. We offer a short 45 minute information session via Zoom. This wil be an overview of the STAIR program. There will also be a required 2 hour curriculum training held in person following the information session.
