    Compassionate Care Volunteer

    Time is our most precious gift; limited, yet of eternal value. What makes it so special is how you use it. Why not share your gift of time with a patient on their end-of-life journey. No special skills are necessary, just a listening ear, a smile, and an open heart. It will be some of the most rewarding time you'll ever spend. Elara Caring is currently looking for compassionate volunteers willing to donate their time to provide that "personal touch" to local hospice patients. Each volunteer will provide companionship, play cards/games, watch old movies, or just converse. There is no physical care involved. Hours are flexible - weekdays, evenings or weekends.
