The Senior Companion Program matches carefully screened volunteers with socially isolated or home-bound seniors throughout McHenry County, strictly for the purpose of weekly friendly visits. Make a lonely Senior smile! Volunteers and seniors may share a meal, watch a movie, play a game, take a walk, or enjoy an outing together or just learn about each other. Matches are made on the basis of shared interests as well as geographic proximity. Genuine, long-standing friendships often result. They need you now - Help Seniors Live Safely At Home!
