    Isolation is a Killer! The Senior Companion Program matches carefully screened volunteers with socially isolated or home-bound seniors throughout McHenry County, strictly for the purpose of weekly friendly visits or phone calls. Make a lonely Senior smile! Volunteers and seniors may share a meal, watch a movie, play a game, take a walk, or enjoy an outing together or just chat on the phone and learn about each other. If you love to talk, this could be an ideal way to volunteer without leaving the comfort of your home! Matches are made on the basis of shared interests as well as geographic proximity. Genuine, long-standing friendships often result. They need you now - Help Seniors Live Safely At Home!
