    This Ones for the Teens

    Are you a teenager looking for volunteer hours, healthcare experience, or just something to do during your spare time?

    Elara Caring Hospice is looking for compassionate individuals in Defiance, OH who have an interest in visiting with Hospice patients in nursing homes and assisted living facilities in nearby areas. The ideal candidate will be willing to travel to where our hospice patients are located to help with in-facility activities and visiting with patients. Some activities may include: musical performances, ice cream socials, arts and crafts, bingo, and so much more.

    This opportunity will provide you with a unique way to get involved with hospice care while gaining experience and earning volunteer hours while also having fun! Don't want to volunteer alone? That's ok! Bring your friends and family with you to help out! This opportunity looks AMAZING on college applications!
